Manage your subscription
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Bridge subscription at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect immediately.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade to a higher plan:
- Log in to your Bridge dashboard
- Go to Settings → Manage Subscription
- Select the plan you want to upgrade to
- Confirm the upgrade
- You'll be charged the prorated difference immediately
Upgrading gives you immediate access to more Squarespace websites and additional features.
Downgrading Your Plan
To downgrade to a lower plan:
- Go to Settings → Manage Subscription
- Select the plan you want to downgrade to
- Confirm the downgrade
- You'll receive a prorated credit on your next billing cycle
Important: Make sure you have no more Squarespace websites than your new plan allows. You'll need to remove excess websites before downgrading.
Canceling Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Settings → Manage Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm the cancellation
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll lose access to Bridge features.
Billing Cycles
Bridge plans are billed monthly or annually:
- Monthly: Billed every month on the date you subscribed — $19, $39 or $99
- Annual: Billed once a year — $168, $348 or $888, which works out at $14, $29 or $74 a month
- Your plan renews automatically until you cancel
Switching Between Monthly and Annual
To change the billing period on a subscription you already have:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Find "Billing period"
- Click "Monthly" or "Yearly"
The switch applies straight away and keeps you on the same plan — nothing is cancelled, and you don't re-enter your card details. Stripe prorates the change, so the time you have already paid for is credited against your new billing period. The option appears while your subscription is active, in its trial, or past due.
Tip: Upgrades and downgrades are prorated, so you only pay for what you use. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
